VOTING IS IN PROGRESS – 2015 Officers & Executive Board

______________________________________________

Hello, All:

The QPA has had a good year!  A year that saw us changed from the unsteady gait of a fledgling to one that’s more solid.  We have been inducted into NYSPA as a Regional Affiliate and we cosponsored a presentation, at St. John’s University, with two speakers from our organization.  We continue to grow in membership and indeed have grown closer as friends

and colleagues.  We intend to continue on course to making the QPA an even stronger presence and well known for conferences, events, referral source, and collegiality!

I am pleased to report that the 2015 ELECTIONS ARE OPEN AND IN PROCESS.   Check your email for your ballot link and vote.  The election period closes 11:59PM on December 31, 2014 or when all registered members have voted.

If you did not get an email ballot, please send an email Dr. Bob Kassoff  or telephone and leave a vociemail with your email address and full name and ask for a ballot link with user ID and code.

Call Dr. Kassoff

Please vote as soon as possible via email.   I would also be happy to answer any questions about this, please do not hesitate to call or to write.  lplphd@gmail.com OR 718-343-5123.

L. Popali-Lehane, PhD

The program on September 24, 2014, The Dark Side of Electronic and Social Media Communication and The Bright Side of Using Technology in a Practice, co-sponsored by St, John’s University Office of Postgraduate Professional Development Programs was a great success.

All in attendance found the information useful and entertaining.  A great breakfast and lunch was sponsored by Therabill, a practice management software company.  They also provided a very nice pad folio for all attendees.

Our next program will be a talk from the authors of  Pax Ethnica: Where and How Diversity Succeeds.

(Toronto Globe & Mail – “An interesting and encouraging glimpse into five cases where diversity seems to succeed.”)
